The SEM 209# Hotplate is designed for routine laboratory heating applications. It provides even temperature distribution across the entire surface, ensuring consistent and dependable results.

These hotplates are available in a range of sizes and models to suit all laboratory needs. In addition, they are easy to operate and maintain.

Each unit features a strong, durable body made from white enamel-coated mild steel or stainless steel. Moreover, non-slip rubber feet provide extra stability and protection during use.

Heating Options

• Cast iron top units: Energy-regulated, heating up to 400°C+.

• Aluminium top units: Thermostatically controlled up to 300°C, or 280°C with a Teflon Silverstone coating.

• Solid-state controls: Optional, for finer temperature accuracy.

• Stainless steel surrounds: Available for sand bath heating.

Additional Features

For large-scale or corrosive environments, a separate controller is supplied — including with the Model 206 Cast Iron Hotplate. Furthermore,

acid-resistant models feature 316 stainless steel construction and acid-proof element leads for long-lasting performance.

Heat Controllers

Additionally, SEM Heat Controllers are compatible with any heating equipment.

• HC1: 10 amps at 240V

• HC15: 15 amps at 240V

Finally, custom-built models are available to meet specific laboratory requirements.
